The software and these terms
These terms cover the VIBE CTRL website and Vibe Ctrl macOS software, developed and supported by Ailin (艾林). Vibe Ctrl maps supported controller and remote inputs to mouse, keyboard and push-to-talk actions on your Mac. We sell software access only; controllers and remotes are not included.
The public release and checkout are being prepared. The current download preview is not an installer, and a contact link is not a completed purchase. These membership and purchase terms describe the offer when sales open; they do not imply that payment or every planned feature is already available.
Compatibility and third-party tools
The release targets Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Support depends on the controller or remote model, firmware, macOS permissions and the actions exposed by the target application. Check compatibility before buying; we do not promise support for every device.
Speech recognition is provided by your chosen input method or dictation tool. Its account, pricing, permissions, quota and data handling are governed by that provider. Optional components, including the virtual microphone, may require separate system authorization. Website demonstrations are illustrations, not a connection to your hardware.
Your account and software access
Use an email address you control and keep access to it secure. Account sign-in is separate from software entitlement. A valid trial or membership is required for device control and dictation; an expired account may still access purchase, membership management and update recovery options.
New accounts registered after the trial offer launches receive one trial lasting seven consecutive 24-hour periods from successful email registration. Existing accounts do not automatically receive a new trial. Reinstalling, signing in again or switching devices does not restart it. Trial access ends at its recorded deadline unless another valid entitlement applies. There is no automatic charge at trial expiry.
Two Macs, annual or lifetime
Trials and paid memberships support up to two Macs per account. You may manage devices and unlink a Mac to switch devices. Do not share or resell account access. Signing out and unlinking a membership device are separate actions.
Annual access lasts 12 calendar months and is renewed manually, with no automatic renewal or recurring charge. If you buy annual access during a trial, the 12 months start at successful payment, without adding the unused trial days. A renewal of an active annual membership extends its existing expiry; an expired membership starts a new term at successful payment.
Lifetime membership has no scheduled expiry for the purchased software entitlement. It is not a promise of unlimited support for all future hardware, third-party services or products, or permanent offline use. Account and entitlement checks may require internet access. An offline receipt cannot extend trial or membership expiry.
Prices, checkout and Paddle
Prices are listed on the pricing page in CNY or USD. The checkout identifies the product, charge currency, taxes and final total before you confirm a purchase. The displayed regional prices are separate offers, not a promise of a fixed exchange rate.
For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller, and its buyer terms govern payment processing. Vibe Ctrl provides the software, account entitlement and product support. Access is granted after the server verifies completed payment, not merely after a browser redirect. Contact support if a completed payment has not appeared in your account; do not pay again just to retry activation.
Refunds and consumer rights
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of successful payment, including a manually purchased renewal. Use of the software does not by itself remove this Vibe Ctrl refund promise. The refund policy explains how to request it and how the refunded entitlement is handled.
This promise is in addition to mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or more favorable applicable rights under Paddle's terms.
Permitted use and changes
Use Vibe Ctrl lawfully on Macs and accounts you are authorized to control. Do not use it to infringe others' rights, interfere with another person's device, circumvent entitlement checks or distribute unauthorized copies.
Updates may change functionality or compatibility. An update download and installation remain user-controlled; an available update does not authorize silent installation. Keep backups of important settings and review the release requirements before installing.
We may restrict access to investigate fraud, protect accounts or comply with law, and may correct or revoke a refunded or invalid entitlement. Contact support to resolve an error. These actions do not remove any refund or consumer rights that apply.
Privacy, support and revisions
The privacy policy explains account, device, diagnostic and payment-related data processing. We do not receive your audio or dictated text as part of software licensing.
We may update these terms as the product changes and will identify the revision date. Changes do not retrospectively reduce a refund promise made for an existing purchase or override mandatory rights. For software support or questions about these terms, contact Ailin (艾林).
